Project Management + Character Design
On this project I served mainly as the Project Manager, coordinating a team of five to deliver a proof of concept prototype in under 6 weeks. I had additional responsibilities as Character Designer and Sound Designer.
We initially developed a paper prototype to prove that the concept was feasible, and more importantly, fun - which we then thoroughly user tested. Once we were comfortable that there was a solid core idea there, we took the prototype to the digital phase, where we began building the game in Unity collaboratively. We originally intended to complete three whole stages to demo, however due to Unity having been a new platform for us to work on, we re-scoped to one fully-fleshed out level plus a glimpse at a dream-world level.
